and Remote Access Service
While
Kidbrooks services are generally performed on location, we also can
perform many services by telephone and remote access at a reduced
rate. Our remote access technology gives
us the ability to take control of your machine just as if we were
sitting in front of it and requires no software to be preinstalled
on your machine or any changes made to your firewall if you have one. Also you control the
connection so you decide whether we can connect or not. Remote
access is great for those more minor issues or questions you may
have. Also if we have made at least one paid on-site visit to your
location, the phone support and remote access support are both
FREE on all calls 15 minutes or less
up to 4 calls between paid services. That's like getting 1 hour of
service for free. If the call takes longer than 15 minutes or you
exceed your 4 call allotment then you would be charged at a reduced
rate off our regular on-site hourly rate. See our pricing page for more
information. Its important to know that your
Internet connection must be functioning for the remote access to work
and we
generally require that you have Cable, DSL or other high-speed
connection for
it to work correctly.
